IZABEL DELLA SIEPE

Izabel Della Siepe is a Canadian, Italian and Salvadoran artist living in Toronto, Canada.

Her personal work tends towards themes of family – and what constitutes home – as well as the very nature of what bridges people together.

She explores these concepts through past and ongoing projects: documenting the bond that exists between brother and sister throughout the pandemic in Toronto, the resilience of communities within Gitxsan and Wet’suwet’en territories, and the discovery of family that chose not to leave home during the Salvadoran Civil War of the 80s.

She is also curator, site designer, and communications lead at Fotohane Darkroom.  View CV.
